You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from datakyte and the services connected to our platform. This page explains what we delete, what we keep, and how to submit a request.
What you can request
- Full account deletion. Removes your user profile, login credentials, saved preferences, and any data stored directly by datakyte.
- Creator data removal. Removes your creator profile, KLNK history, payout details, and analytics data from datakyte systems.
- Booking and customer data. If you are a tour operator, you can request deletion of personal data you have stored through our platform, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Connected service data. We will revoke integrations and ask our subprocessors to delete your data where they act on our behalf.
How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@datakyte.com with the following information:
- Your full name and email address associated with the account.
- The type of account (operator, creator, or partner).
- A clear statement that you want your data deleted.
- Any relevant details, such as connected integrations or booking IDs.
We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and process your request within 30 days. If we need more time due to legal obligations or technical complexity, we will let you know.
Connected services and integrations
datakyte connects with third-party services to process bookings, payments, and creator attribution. When you request deletion, we will:
- Delete data stored directly by datakyte.
- Revoke active integrations and API access tokens.
- Notify subprocessors that process data on our behalf.
- Direct you to the relevant third-party deletion process where the service holds data independently.
Some connected services may require you to submit a separate deletion request directly. Common examples include payment processors, booking systems, and analytics providers.
What we keep and why
In some cases we are required to keep certain data even after a deletion request. This includes:
- Transaction and billing records kept for tax, accounting, and regulatory purposes.
- Records needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot reasonably identify you.
When we retain data, we limit its use to the specific legal purpose and apply appropriate safeguards.
Your other rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, restrict, or port your data. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
